Fresh Natural Local
We strive to be transparent with our customers. We like to share visual updates and behind the scenes information about our produce so that people know their farmers and their food. We believe that real local food is important. Knowing your farmer and your food tells a story for every meal. We don’t believe that the “farm to table” push should be a fad but a way of life. Our culture has fallen away from natural food and home cooking. We hope we can bring that back into your home.
While we are not certified organic, we are pesticide free and that is evident in the fact that not everything is perfect- just as it should be. We joke that every purchase of corn comes with a guaranteed worm and it is true. Our produce has imperfections that nature intended. We use non-GMO heirloom seeds whenever possible, and some of our produce is grown from seeds we have saved over the past 50 years.
What began as a means to get rid of excess from an over ambitious farmer, to a way to help put two kids through Texas A&M, is now a passion for fifth generation farmers to bring food we love to our community. We sold wholesale to some of the top restaurants in Houston, have been published in the Houston Chronicle and Zagat, and now are going back to our roots to provide fruits and veggies direct from the farm.
